05 July 2005 - Holden Frontera and Isuzu Wizard steering rack mounting
bracket
Description of Problem:
Holden is aware of a possible misalignment condition within the steering system. Should this misalignment not be corrected, the steering gear coupling bolts may loosen and cause damage to the coupling. Continuous driving of the vehicle in this condition may result in a loss of steering control.
Rectification:
A Holden service technician will inspect the vehicle to determine whether the steering rack mounting bracket is correctly located on the cross member via a checking procedure. If replacement parts are required the service technician will fit them free of charge to the customer.
