13 June 2007 - VY & VZ AWD FRONT BRAKE HOSES SAFETY RECALL
Description of problem:
The Front Brake Hoses may develop a brake fluid leak. This in turn may cause increased brake pedal travel and reduced brake effectiveness of the vehicle.
Rectification:
The replacement Front Brake Hoses have been redesigned to include an additional grommet to avoid the hoses contacting the strut spring seat The hoses have also been lengthened to minimise stress to the hoses during steering rotation and strut assembly travel.

All AWD (All Wheel Drive) vehicles in the following models:

The letter provides details of the recall campaign and requests the customer to contact a Holden Dealer to make a service booking to have the appropriate work carried out.
