CDX DIESEL HOLDEN CRUZE

In an exciting addition to the Cruze line-up, Holden New Zealand has announced that a CDX diesel automatic will join the range from early 2010.

Holden New Zealand General Manager, Simon Carr, said the introduction of the CDX diesel is great news for New Zealand drivers.

“Diesel is a popular choice for New Zealand motorists making up 33% of Cruze sales year to date,” Mr Carr says.

“Now consumers will be able to enjoy the high level of features offered by the Cruze CDX along with the performance and fuel efficiency of the 2.0l diesel engine – a winning combination.”

The new model comes on the back of a positive market response to the Cruze range, which saw it ranked as the third most popular passenger vehicle in its first month of sales.

“We are very pleased with the response so far. Customers have recognised the outstanding value for money that Cruze offers and many have opted for the high specified model with CDX making up more than 44% of Cruze sales.”

Cruze CDX diesel will offer the same specification as the petrol variant.

The Cruze range combines five-star ANCAP safety with exceptional ride and handling, fuel efficiency and stylish design.
