HOLDEN SPARKS NEW WAY TO GET DRIVING

HOLDEN SPARKs NEW WAY TO GET DRIVING

An innovative campaign from Holden New Zealand which removes the need for drivers to come up with a significant deposit now means driving a new Spark LS is as simple as ‘add fuel and go.’

“Kiwis are familiar with subscription based services such as mobile phones and pay TV, and this is simply an extension of this as it too relies on a weekly payment - but we believe this is the first time it’s been done in New Zealand with a car,” said the Managing Director of Holden New Zealand, Kristian Aquilina.

“We are always looking for ways to make driving a new Holden a hassle-free experience for our customers, so ‘add fuel and go’ makes driving a new Spark LS more accessible and attainable than ever before.”

Included in the $99 weekly payment is everything a new driver could want for, including servicing, warranty, insurance and roadside assistance.

“We anticipate this promotion will resonate with recent graduates and those starting out in the workforce, as it is a very manageable weekly payment,” said Mr Aquilina.

“Holden also offers a variety of options at the end of the three-year agreement as the driver has the ability to buy the car outright, upgrade to a new model or simply return the car and end the subscription.”

The five-star ANCAP safety rated Holden Spark is proving popular in the two months since launch, with technology features such as Holden MyLink Infotainment System with 7-inch colour touch screen, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto mobile phone projection* as well as Siri Eyes Free and Smartphone Voice Recognition finding favour with new drivers.

“We’ve enjoyed a fantastic response to the launch of the new Holden Spark and want to extend the opportunity to drive the new model to even more people,” said Mr Aquilina.

“It’s never been easier to get behind the wheel of a new car, especially when all you have to do is add fuel and go.”
